Since the beginning of the month we are in Viet Nam. We have been mostly chillin in Sapa and Ha Noi. Almost like a holiday from travelling. To give the trip a little twist and not to waist time on the local transport we bought ourselves motorcycles. Marco bought himself a Belorussian MINSK and I went for a HONDA. Both bikes are a joy to ride and we reached Ha Noi with quite a few adventures. Talking about the roads itself - pure chaos. Main rule is that bigger vehicles have priority. People driving with no lights, at times 4 persons on a single bike..You dont need a driving licence or papers to own a vehicle here . Police is a joke for the locals. You get the vibe. It has been almost a week in the capital now and we feel ready to hit the road again. We are heading for the coast and Halong Bay tomorrow. Hope to show you more shots from there soon. Analogue still holds the crown. Heres some digital snaps to complete the story.
P.S. we tried dog meat and its pretty good. veggie wraps for anyone? :)
